If You Could Be A Robot

I’d be a golem Android (read Neal Ashers polity books) it’s basically a ceramal endoskeleton covered in synth skin to perfectly mimic human morphology. They have exceptional strength and speed but the higher memory functions are controlled by a memplant crystal. This is fitted to a human and record all your memories and experiences. On death this crystal lattice memory storage can be removed and placed into a golem chassis making humans immortal. The memplant is located in the stomach area of a golem because it’s much better protected in case of physical harm. The skull is such a poor place to store everything you were and can be.

If I were a robot I wouldn't be on a keyboard. I would just think / zap my trite comments to this forum.
 
Being a robot would be pretty dope, you'd effectively retain consciousness of your current thoughts and memories but wake up in a new body and be able to live virtually forever. That's pretty cool in itself, you'd be able to do anything. I think I'd probably use this ability to try and propel humanity further into the future with more advanced technology so we could explore the stars and find the secrets within the universe. Then colonize the hell out of millions of planets. Oh yeah and huge space ships.
