Issues with profile pages, glitches, or, limitations?

Hi all,

Would like to know why there is a limit of 140 characters per post on profile pages? yet, if you reply to or, post to another chatters profile page you get many more lines to use for your post/reply.

Well if it's by design, can they design more space for more characters to use? j/s Would be nice to get 2 sentences in at least. Allow for 280 characters? tyvm
