Probably have to wait it out then.. They're in time out I'm guessing and no talking allowed.
as @nessabbyxo said, the person you talked to has broken rules and has to face the consequences. we do not discuss bans of any sort in here. Same goes with the pretty yellow tag.

I don't see whats wrong with hypothetical discussions.
As far as the consequences go - is it just a time out? does the pretty yellow tag ever get lifted?

the problem with hypotheticals is just that. They are hypothetical. Any type of time out or ban is there for the severity of the crime. If we talked about lengths we would have people abusing the system and ruining the integrity of the website. We would not want that now would we? 
As has been stated, its basically a posting mute button for having done something that breaks the rules of the site.
