I'm getting all the "points." We're not going to start moderating out of a hunch. We operate on clear facts, demonstrable evidence. If we moderated the website on feelings, hunches, personal moral panics and vibes, there'd be nothing but chaos. I didn't start doing this yesterday.

No, you're not getting it. I never said you should moderate the sus thread. I said the guy posting in the thread wasn't worth reporting because the thread was started by someone claiming to be a lesbian who was probably another guy, iow none of it was really worth anyone's time worrying about

All this talk of personal moral panics is ridiculous and condescending. Weren't you just complaining that someone was twisting your words? Maybe don't do it to others then

I know moderating can be a hellish and complicated job, but this was a debate that didn't need to happen, because I wasn't asking you to do anything
