Probably, an English literature class dedicated entirely to John Milton. The professor was this silver fox of a gentleman, very easy on the eyes, with a voice something like Morgan Freeman with a fading Welsh accent. It was a seminar class, reading huge amounts of Miltonic works, essays on Milton, as well as political and historical documents from the times. Intensely useless, but deeply interesting course. As a seminar, there were only 12 students, so we often gathered at the university grad house after class for drinks and to read our homework aloud together. I can't think of a much better way to spend a Thursday evening than drinking ale and reciting Milton.

or

Universals of Language: which was a course for learning the things that are common to all languages, as well as a lot of the things that one would think should be common, but aren't. It turned out to be much more practical than I had expected. Learning the international phonetic alphabet, as well as how to pronounce many of the sounds that make up human language has been surprising useful in my life since then. I was also sat next to a young woman from Korea, who proved pivotal in my post-grad life.

Wow the language class sounds like a lot of fun!!

Vehicle Technology. I loved getting my hands dirty and taking engines apart, especially motorbikes.

Looking back, I think the course was a convenient way for the teachers to get their cars and bikes serviced:p :D

Hard to say what my favorite class was. Depends on the criteria.

Income distribution was a great class because it was only six people with a range of political views so we had spirited discussions.

I also had some great history classes.

Architecture for non architects was a great class.

my school had a class all about wine that including tasting. You had to be 21 to take it and even though I was I waited for a couple of other friends with the intention of taking it together. I got closed out of the course, so a friend and I “self taught” ourselves with the help of the local liquor store owner.

I went to college in the UK which is different to the US in that it’s more of a trade school. I did joinery which in the US I think is a carpenter. My favourite class was technical drawing, kinda like architecture. I’m guessing though typing this out it’s no help at all to you is it @LillyK99 but felt I wanted to join in and see the boobies, they are so worth it :D:D
