What's your worst first date story? I'll share mine soon because it was very recently updated :D

He got way too drunk and never came out if the men's toilet so i had to send someone in to check on him and he was passed out snoring with vomit on him so I danced to a band playing and met a really nice Irish guy who I did nutty things with like drew really silly menu items on a cafe menu board like "snozzberry sausages" and "poached quail fart" etc then I convinced him to climb a big tree in Hyde park with me and guess what I found??? A very cute and frightened baby possom on the grass when we got down and I picked it up for cuddles (he thought it was a typical Australian girl thing to do and was amazed) lol typical PHEONIX thing to do ... till we found it's worried mumma and managed to return it ... I felt so Bindi Irwin lol ... I've always been an animal whisperer ... and YEAH we kissed and there was groping and then we went our separate ways and never saw each other again! Fun memory I haven't thought of for like at least 15 yrs!!

Love it when things are looking down then suddenly turn around ... such a random date fail turned WIN! (The massive old oak tree climb and possum wrangling more than either of the guys although the one who didn't ditch me or vomit was kinda cute even though his tipsy accent was a little hard to decipher at times lol)

What is the best gift you have ever received?
About 15 years ago I was given a ring from my adoptive mom. It's a crazy long story how she became my unofficial mom. But.... the ring is very sentimental and was given to her by a family member when her daughter tragically died. She passed it on to me because I had become her daughter over the years we had known each other. I still have the box she gave it to me in with the typed message that it was Sarah's ring. Still makes me cry ❤

This is a really tough question for me because I hate receiving gifts...especially on my birthday or holidays (see my post about the over-commercialization of holidays and how it leads to under appreciating people) So I'd have to say, even at the risk of sounding corny, that my favorite gift has been knowledge. I always appreciate and take the time to remember and truly thank anyone that take the time to share their knowledge and wisdom with me. And so that is the greatest gift I've ever been given...knowledge.

So ridiculous how well this portrays me and my ex. Every single line and meaning. Staring in the mirror... push my love away like a loaded gun. Trauma bonding. The only difference is I don't think I miss him anymore, I just miss the false security I had that felt real.

Is there a song that captures you, someone you know, or a moment in your life perfectly? What is it?
Oh my god, so many! I seem to attach songs to people, moments and feelings all the time. The one that stands out though is Bitch by Meredith Brooks :) not saying I’m a total bitch! But the lyrics explain it better

Much like @Still_Waters music is apart of the core of who I am. I attach music to everything. Rascally Flatts - God Bless the Broken Road tell the story of the pain, heartache, and misery that led me to the person that finally accepted me for who I am. Skillet-Monster is how I feel about myself regularly. Juice world - come & go is another song that I resonate with. The list goes on but those are a few.

Die immer lacht means She/Her who always smiles. I don't like this song. When it came out 5 years ago it was decided,(without me having any say in the matter) that ' Die immer lacht' is now my new nickname.
Because I always have a smile in my face. Even if I don't want to smile. It's grown into my face. This condition can get me in akward or shitty Situations. At funerals or people don't take me serious.

When was 7years old my grandma became Alzheimer's. It started with her forgetting her keys or her winking at the telly saying" I know him from school". Mom explained to me that grandma is not trying to be funny or something, No,grandma is ill. Knowing this it still was a shock for me when she forgot my 9th birthday. From there it got worse. It hurt when she shouted at me 'who are you? What you want?" Just bringing your shopping grandma. I made the shopping list an hour before with her. She didn't recognize her own daughter, saying Mum died years ago. And so on. She died when I was 16. This song reminds me of this time and the disease.
