It's lockdown, so even if there's a slight easing there's a lot of 'extra time' on your hands. So I was just thinking... (I'm ploughing through the entire MCU at the moment, chronological order, of course :p). Everyone has a faviurite movie/book(s) so...

Which movie have you watched over and over again?

Which book/series is most loved and read?

Post pics, titles, authors if you like as a pointer, whatever you like (within sensibilities and rules of course). Maybe you'll identify something that others take a recommendation for.

So, in honour of current MCU films that I've watched individually 3-4 times each on its own....

I think I've watched the first Jurassic Park movie like 10 times when I was a bèbè. I don't really watch movies multiple times anymore now. Except sometimes if I had watched it alone before and then watch it again together with someone. The most recent movie I watched twice like that was Alita: Battle Angel.

I liked Alita as a movie. Interesting concept, but a little let down by the ending I thought.

I have probably seen this movie a 100 times, but still love it. I watch it while I wait for my own Mr. Darcy :)

I'll admit that period dramas are not my thing, but totally get watching particular ones multiple times.

I have re-read War of the Worlds pretty much every year, I would call myself a scholar of it at this stage. BBC adaption was a complete disaster. They did do a wonderful job with His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman....
As for movies, anything by Christopher Nolan. Interstellar absolutely blew me away, really loved the relationship between father and daughter. If I had a go to movie though which I could watch endlessly, it is probably Shaun of the Dead.
