Thoughts Neighborhood Q&A

@Calazviel What is one of the best books you've ever read and what did you learn from it?

Thank God you phrased that way, I never answer questions regarding the singular best anything but since you phrased it "one of the best" it gives me a lot more leeway.

I think one of the books that has taught me something has been A Spy in the House of Love by Anaïs Nin, many great books have left an impression over me but this truly coursed through my veins. A started reading it on a bus ride home but it was so compelling, so much so that I carried on riding the Number 11 (longest urban bus route in Europe) till I was finished. At points I found myself reading it aloud in a hushed whisper, I must have come across as crazy to my fellow passengers. The narrative style really resonated with me because it was so disjointed and the stream of consciousness bore resemblance to how my writing comes naturally to me, which I'd always had to temper because I was afraid to really run with it. I think the book opened up to me a world where I should really try to embrace and develop my writing style as opposed to try and change it to fit more conventional forms.

Wonderful! Thanks for the reply. It must have been riveting!!

@PheonixxxMonroe if you had to plan an IMPRESSIVE date for the same gender, what show stoppers would you pull out?
Hmmm, well ... The show stoppers would no doubt be my mouth and hands cause I'm good with both haha but I'd keep it chilled and scenic, so maybe a picnic/sunset moment on a blanket. I'd mix us cocktails and there would be berries and melted chocolate to say the very least :p

@Oldgymrat
What is your wildest fantasy?

What do you personally think of your friend’s relationships?

When was the last time you cried and why?

What are three moral rules you will never break?

What is your happiest memory to date?

Enjoy and have fun my brotha:)

@Heather
Who's someone you looked up to when you were a kid?

What were your favorite school subjects?

Who is or was your greatest rival?

Do You Believe In Destiny?

Have you ever gone all the way on the first date?

Enjoy, get well, and feel better soon hun:) xx

@Hannah__-
Hello and welcome!
Have you ever made a sex tape?

What are the unwritten rules of where you work?

What outdoor activity do you love doing on Christmas day?

What’s something that all your friends agree on?

When is your favorite time of day?

Enjoy and have fun:)

Thanks for asking these questions. I have never made a sex tape and there aren’t any unwritten rules at my work. My favorite activity is the annual corn-hole tournament we have at my families house. Something my friends all agree in is that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza. My favorite time of the day is when I get off work.

Thanks for the answers but I will ignore the pineapple remark:)

@AlexWS how long have you been chatting on FCn and what brought you here?

@Slopps do you own any boxers that aren’t black?

@Heather if you had to move to another country where would it be?

@MissLed what is one thing you truly love about your home town?

@Craig51m fav breakfast food?

@FireflyEyes what is your fav photo thread to post in and why?
I joined in August of 2018 and a buddy of mine that I knew at work had told me about the site and said I should check it out for the roleplay room lol So I did and the rest is history:)

@FireflyEyes what is your fav photo thread to post in and why?
I like the days of the week threads best, I think. As anyone can post basically anything. Particularly, I'm a fan of Tuesday and Friday.
I don't like Tuesdays in general (out of pure spite), but posting something teasey and getting warm likes and messages just takes the edge off that cursed day.
As for Friday, while I usually also work Saturday, it is a celebration of a week well played, a moment to unwind or send a naughty postcard.

I like the shades of grey thread as well, but I think I like the challenge of taking a good colour photo, which is more difficult with indoor lighting.

How about you @Jinxy, where do you like to post the most?

I like the Shades of grey thread, I enjoy how the photos look more sensual in black and white. Also enjoy the filter thread because who doesn’t love a good filter. Ohh and the Show me thread, I enjoy the little challenges.

@Slopps do you own any boxers that aren’t black?
Pfft... That's a silly question. Of course not.
Or does dark Grey count? o_O

@WomenRfromVenus
Are you more attracted to women physically or mentally/emotionally?

@Kbunny
Cheese or cake? You only get to chose 1. I know, I'm a horrible person :cool:

@Jinxy
What would really impress you on a first date?

@PheonixxxMonroe
Have you ever performed in public? On what occasion?

I know you didn't ask for a "book", but I'm a woman of many words :D

Finding women attractive physically is easy enough. And by first glance, I would probably notice nice features of a woman, more than a man's. Simply because women tend to know, and showcase their best assets.
-Whereas men doing mundane tasks and living life, tend to be more casual and blended.
But!
True attraction to a woman is based on mental and emotional traits.

And that is where I find an often disconnect with men.
Men aren't emotional thinkers. They see life or problems & they have the fight or flight approach. They deal with things and move on. They typically don't feel the need to dissect every aspect of life and how things function.

Whereas women are emotional thinkers, who's mind is a 24 hr thinking machine.

So when guy's are quiet, have few words, are closed off emotionally, never want to hash the deep topics of life, be vibrant etc. I just feel that socially, I find myself unattracted to them. Physical attraction is easy, but it's finding substance in the personality.

Now of course, this isn't always exclusive to gender alone.

I've met chatty men. And I've met emotionally closed off women.
But, just generally speaking. Women seem more inclined to invest into connections. Versus men trying to build solely on chemistry.
