NFL Season

The Browns beat the Eagles 5-0 tonight, demonstrating that nationally-televised Thursday Night Football is already in mid-season 'unwatchable' form.

Only 2 of 9 major league baseball games tonight had a score total less than 5.

Although im in scotland im always watching the nfl. Team i follow has been terrible for years and finally looked decent last year but fell short.

Cmon the Rams !!

Well 6 games in and im buzzing , could the long wait be over ?

Don´t jinx it, I hope! Good luck!
How long is the long wait and what is the wait for?
offtopic:My supported football (not American Football) club is waiting for clinching the German league title since ´58. While usually coming in 2-4th out of 18 teams, last year being 2nd (again!) :D What I am trying to go at is: It could always be worse! Hang in there and have faith and fun meanwhile!

Back on topic, my two cents: "Go Vikes, get your shit together!" :D

I stay in scotland but have always follwed the rams since i was a kid. 3 superbowl apperances 1 win back in 1999. Would be over the moon if they could do it.

I know the feeling with football, my team is Tottenham Hotspur and weve no league title since 1961 so know how you feel. Is Schalke 04 your team ?

Yes indeed it is, haha. Well, I told the story to my American football fandom on @Alex_AD´s page.. Let me copy paste: "I love NFL, since I have worked for a company in in Minnesota, on my first day at work I received a Vikings cup from my hiring man. The Vikes were 12-0. I am sad to admit they lost the right next match after. Sorry Vikes!. My fault! I bBeen following the Vikings closely since. Equally follow the Broncos, Mile High City being my favorite place on earth. As a European I love impacts and the tactical depth"

The G-State Warriors I only love because if Clay Matthews haha. The reason for them overprotecting quarterbacks is surely this guy also. But I learned there is superior tactics and then there is Clay Matthews. Like when no tactics work he just wizards some stuff that surely is not in the playbook. Not only making the quarterback look bad (sacked!) but making it look easy meanwhile...

To your hopes this year... Well Just watched the highlights of week 5 against the Seahawks. Tells me a lot. For those interested:

Rams being 4-0.
Still against all hype it is a super tight game. Not easy. Always getting behind and then tieing it again. 17-17 in between 24-30... But at least keeping it tight, never quite managing to enforce the game control to get ahead though.

Then last bit where it counts... Flawless. 14 minutes to go, 30-31 But Seahawks on offense. Denying them. Then playing it just right. Nothing crazy, efficient, free of faults. Rather be save then sorry and at least score.. 33-31. Denying the Seahawks again and win..

What I mean is: The Rams won the game they could have lost also. That shows character and determination. If anyone wants to win a Super Bowl I guess they need to be badass at making adversity disappear. To win a game high when all goes smooth is easy. But when facing a face-value opponent (no matter if the opponent was expected to be a tough opponent... Rather even more so when the opponent was expected to be a walk in the park and suddenly shakes it up by keeping up or leading..) in a tight game, true champions show...

It looked pretty "clinical" to me. And that is a compliment through and through, thinking about the German Football World Champions especially not for the 7:1 against Brazil but a hard fought 1:0 against Algeria and another 1:0 against France.. Only really strong teams can keep their opponents very close and not get nervous and make mistakes...

Most interesting Free Agent period in years with this decades worse teams making moves to make them playoff contenders ... on paper.

Browns will be interesting to watch next year.

Cant wait for The Draft.
