Password not working on chat

So my password works for the forum but when i got the chat and use the same credentials it says im not authenticated. Any idea why?

 

You don't need to enter any credentials while logged into forum and navigating to chat. Simply click LOGIN without filling out anything.

 

Weird issue here:
I can log into the forum but when I try the same credentials on the chat site they do not work and says I'm not authorized.

Any ideas of why?

 

If your logged into the forum, you don't need to put your details in again to log into Chat..

I'm guessing you didn't like the answer you got there which is the same as I've just given you.

 

Sorry I missed those other ones. Yeah so the problem is when Iget ot chat which does not ask me to put in credentials it won't let me enter and says "not authenticated"
You are right in saying I dont have to enter credentials but it wont let me enter chat unless i logout and use a guest pass.
