Would there be a way to add in a feature so we could tell if someone has left from a Private Message Conversation? This would help greatly.

Probably not as that would become a privacy issue
That feature was available in the old chat version, did not seem to be a "privacy" issue over multiple years, why would that be an issue now?

There was no such feature. The chat only informed you that the user went offline (navigated away from the chat page or disconnected), so you don't waste your time sending messages to nowhere. It's nobody's business who closes whose PM's.
gotcha.......seems i misinterpreted the original question/suggestion. It would be nice if the new chat also did show the if the user went offline as well.
