The greatest thing you can give yourself is to be yourself, embrace your good and bad points and strive every day to be better than yesterday. Do it for yourself not for others. If you do this for others then you are probably changing yourself into who they want you to be and not into who you hope to be one day. You need to be happy with yourself and know your own worth.

Also, never compare yourself to others, do not copy others' minarism and personalitys in the hope that others might like you. Just do you be yourself alone then you will be comfortable in your own skin. If you want to grow and change and be a better person it must always be for yourself because you love yourself and want to be a better person than yesterday.

There will always be people who criticize you some will do it to try to break you down others will do it to try to build you up. Pay attention to those who give you praise and constructive criticism. If the criticism is demeaning and derogatory, pass. There is good advice and bad advice .... eat the fish spit out the bones you do not have to accept everything but also do not shoot everything down.

But most important be YOU the right people will love you for you.

When there is 100mm rain in an hour and it keep on raining and all the bridges in town is under water and the river banks is flood and you have to travel 15km to get into town when it normaly is just 4km fun times. But all that water looks beautiful. Been out for a ride to the bridge just down the road and its really something to witness. :)
 
Countless times I have asked myself, why am I on this damn site?! I'm a grown ass woman and the level of immaturity at times is ridiculous, including the fact that feelings are sure to get hurt executable. But yet, here I am, still showing up... *sigh* I'm here because I'm bored, or horny, or lonely. Sometimes all three :p
 
Sometimes we get lost between the paths of our lives and we can only keep hoping that our feet will find the right course again. As anger and our hurtful words disappear into the dust of time we learn to be more careful with what we say and how and towards whom. We get lost many times in different times of our lives every phase is a learning experience. Sometimes it's easy and fun other times, it is difficult and painful however, we have to hold on and keep on going with inhuman power we did not know we possessed until we have no choice. Life can not always be easy because then we will never learn and develop to our full potential. The attitude with which we deal with the hard times and wrong times full of mistakes determines how long you are going to get stuck there. Sometimes patience is needed sometimes fast action is needed. But I know we do not have to stay there and there is always but always a solution maybe not always the solution we were hoping for but a solution that is usually exactly what you need. Do not give up on your circumstances and yourself. There really is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I've been having my hair dyed for over 2 years now and it's weird how my natural color seems so dull when my roots grow in. I did it myself for quite a while because I don't like spending a lot of money on myself but it sure is a wonderful feeling to go to a salon. It'll be 3 months later on this week when I have it done again and I'm so excited :p:cool:
