Thoughts Post your little thoughts.

May we all be a little more kind and try to understand people's souls instead of condemning the shell. One thing none of us may understand is that there are people begging to be seen. We are all strong but others are stronger. So who are we to judge? who are we, we are just a microscopic speck in a world that would like to give us all the universe. Too blind to really see that life is not a popularity contest. May our eyes when they read these words choose to fight for others who need us. We may be a speck of dust, but we can explode in an atomic bomb and someone else's life can be radically changed even if it's just one person. Let's think twice before we discount and judge and cast out someone who may be full of pain and whose pain we have no idea about. As they say, if we can't say something good, we better not say it. We don't know the story of the alcoholic, we don't know the story of the fat woman or man, we don't know the story of the drug addict, we don't know the story of the skinny man or woman who only eats leaves, we don't know the depression sufferer's story, we don't know the one who seems to be walking with their nose in the air etc. We all flee from something, we all have scars.. we can be a safe haven for someone somewhere.. be good, be a shelter, be more than just a human.

I'm feeling a little upset at the moment, I had an encouraging relationship with someone on here via private messaging, non sexual.

Due to my latest post on a thread I feel like I was accused of something that wasn't true. I'm going to be respectful and not mention the person by username or what was said.

I just need to post this little thought. :(:(

Many times what we feel is not true so don't run away with it just take a deep breath and let it go if you know the truth then thats all what matters. Especialy on here people assume and jump to conclusions way to fast because many times people read to respons not to understand.

I have received a message from this other person and they said that they believe my post is full of bullshit. I've told them that I no longer want to hear from them, it's gone completely. I thought that we could of built on what we had.

Today is the day I go out into the world and play Cupid. So many people are going to get so many chocolate creamed filled items their going to go crazy

If 20% of all men are dating 80% of all women, what happens on Valentine's Day?

Sounds like everybody is trying to unrealistically date up and that just doesn't work. lol

Not proofread (idgaf):

I'm always seeing complaints from older people that things aren't how they used to be or that you can't say certain things anymore without offending someone or people are becoming more sensitive, complaints about what men or women are openly into and other shit that has no real bearing on their lives.

First of all, that's some of the worst passive-aggressive bullshit you can be saying to other people. Fuck off. If you don't like the advancing society, crawl back into your hole, don't participate and stay in your little stagnant personal swamp of delusional paranoia.

People have always been "sensitive" and weary of injustices of the humanity. The internet and explosion of Instant social media, as well as news (surprise, surprise—there's more news to report as a result), simply enabled everyone to communicate and organize in a much quicker and more effective manner. More and more people around the world have been gaining access to social media and Instant communication, bringing like-minded and similarly oppressed and/or disadvantaged people together to effect change which benefits a larger portion of the society rather than a minuscule portion comprised of privileged, old, oppressive assholes resistant to change.

Societal changes since beginning of time have benefited everyone and that is the point of change. Sentiments across entire social fabric don't charge for the worse, otherwise, humanity would have completely fallen apart very, very, very, long time ago. All the recognition and rights people are gaining which make you uncomfortable also indirectly (and sometimes directly) benefit you as well, regardless of your bullshit religion or broken ass personal and outdated beliefs.

You're not the one to decide what's best for the younger generations. Younger generations are perfectly capable of deciding for themselves and don't need your inapplicable and ignorant views of the past. Shit needs to advance, not stay stale and unproductive. If you can't keep up, shut the fuck up and go back to sleep.

"Government this, government that" or "Political party this, political party that" tropes I constantly hear are another category of idiocy leading to toxicity in modern society.

First of all, you need both parties for balance—the left for creativity and the right for managing all that shit so it doesn't get out of control. That's just how it works in a healthy society on a psychological level. The left will always get creative ("Hurry up, shit is getting stale and not enough people are participating") and the right will always tug at the leash ("Whoa, whoaaaa slow down, let me catch my breath! I like it the same all the time! Let's talk.")

Second, the government is comprised of people, not some evil alien life forms. They're people like you. They ARE you. Theyre you and I. We voted them in. The behavior of politicians is a reflection of the society—you and I—right down to absurd bickering as a result of personal preferences. No aliens arrived from some outer space civilization and installed this evil government. Policies taking shape in government are shaped by people—the constituents. Whatever is happening in the government is a mirror image of what's happening in the constantly changing, evolving and advancing society. What the majority of humans seek is what's going to shape all policies. Confused? Look at what's happening in Universities now—that's what will affect policies in the next decade. Those people are the government—your offspring, your peers, your whatever.
