Thoughts Post your little thoughts.

Someone recently told me to watch this, apparently it's very interesting. Might watch tonight.
I think a lot of it is stuff most of us already kind of know. But to hear the depth and details from people who know...incredible.

One example that I found super interesting is this- when you google something, the suggestions that come up are based on where you live. So, before we can even think for ourselves, ideas are planted in our minds. Time to stop using google and use the lesser known search engines that don’t track your IP and everything you do.

One way to influence your search results is to add a zip code, town/state/country name, log out of your google account, user different search enginres, opt out of tailored ads, etc. There's a number of ways to mitigate targeted content and get better results.

Yeah, for sure. But the combination of the way these search engines track you (and I swear they listen to you) and social media is the real issue.

Never use real info and change it completely once every year or more often. You'll be fine as fine can be.

Oh yes, when the microphone permission is on, they're definitely listening. Tested and tried.

Mhm, Google def suppresses info as well, in the populated search suggestions as well as results. A major player in Big Tech.

People are concerned for stupid things in this world and yet no one cares to really be concerned for things that truly matter.

Who defines what things are stupid (or labeled as stupid) or how someone knows if people really are/aren't concerned about more serious things? *wonders*

Lol wut? Never use real info on what? I’m referring to the documentary The Social Dilemma. The way these tech companies manipulate people is sickening. My social media is to connect with friends and family, so of course it’s real. Otherwise there’s no use for it. Finding out how advertisements and other things are used to manipulate thoughts or trigger feelings is what I don’t like.

I really hate my body at times in terms of it always having issues. Ugh something tells me I'll see my doctor soon because either cysts have grown or endometriosis is back growing. Been in pain lately and ugh I'm exhausted.

I was just thinking about this earlier. We constantly go through shit. It's the stuff that I'm like "fuck, I can't handle this! How do I handle this? Why do I even HAVE TO handle something like this? It's too much!" And all people say is "sorry". That stuff makes me stronger even though I feel like the weakest possible version of myself. Some days I can get out of bed and some days I stay there a little longer before I force myself out & practice so much positive self talk that now my 10 year old son does it too ❤ Damn this is a rant lol. I'm currently dealing with something shitty but tonight I was thinking that even though it really really sucks and I'm sad, I know I can deal with this. I don't know how yet but I have a lot of practice in doing really hard things so I know it works when you keep trying ❤

“Hard times build determination and inner strength. Through them we can also come to appreciate the uselessness of anger. Instead of getting angry nurture a deep caring and respect for troublemakers because by creating such trying circumstances they provide us with invaluable opportunities to practice tolerance and patience.”
