To make a very long story very short: I'm mentally checked out of my current job and am job-hunting. I decided months ago I would upskill, but last week, I decided to also review material from my college classes.

It's not even remotely an exaggeration to say I nearly teared up over all the potential I may have wasted and all the things I forgot over the past few years.

Hence my desire to upskill and embark on what could be a beginning of a new career - which, for the record, I've wanted since I joined this site.

I feel like I wrote this exactly. I hope you manage to do what you need to and want to.
