This wasn't my first time meeting someone offline. The first time I ever did, it went really well, but that was years ago during myspace days.
Sites like this are a different breed. Even if everything in you says the person is amazing and absolutely nothing can go wrong with meeting up irl. Even if you (think) you know pretty much everything about the person and vice versa. Everything can blow up in your face just like that once you're face to face.
I appreciate the positive sentiment, but I still strongly disagree.

In that case I can only hope you find other ways to both enjoy the site, and to meet people you feel you can trust. Good luck with both

You know what fixes some, potentially most of that? Resistance training. Not cardio or endurance, resistance training. As in, hypertrophy, strength building—lifting heavy with calculated intent on a routine basis.
