Thoughts Post your little thoughts.

I always thought I wouldn't mind getting older.
In my mind getting older was just getting wrinkles and hair growing out of your nose and ears.

But getting older gracefully is really learning to deal with unfulfilled dreams. Show me as much Facebook wisdom ("age is just a number", "its never to late to..."). The reality is that someday you're too old to get "discovered" by a scout to become a pro football player. Or get your next career step. Or have a place you can call home (literally and figuratively). Or travel to some places. Or this. Or that. The real difficulty is that after a good game, a succes at work, or encountering a special person, just for a moment you want to believe you're maybe not too old. But you are.

TLDR?
I'm aging pretty well. I (still) don't have to shave any hair coming out of my ears or nose 👌

Nowhere is safe 🥺

*scratches*
I accidentally discovered that rubbing lots of hand sanitizer over affected area makes the itch go away. Add a generous amount to hand and rub the area until it's dry. May have to do it 2-3 times. Do use high alcohol concentration sanitizer.

Get yourself a "bite away pen"! Stings a little for a few seconds but works perfectly, permanently and chemical free. I'm not going on vacation without 👍

Man those nose hairs…

You look amazing

People eat garbage, because it's too easy. I almost fell into that trap an hour ago, because I didn't feel like prepping dinner. It doesn't have to be fancy or time-of-day-themed meal. Just prep anything.

I forgot how exhausting shopping in-person is. Fuck that noise. Gah. Stores have also sized down in-store inventory, floor layout/etc, so when you walk into them, shit looks half-empty/abandoned, unless they sell a range of daily-use household items.
