Posting links

Dumb question, but any time I try to post a link I am told it is spam. This has happened to me primarily in PMs when I want to post a link to clarify or provide greater detail. I thought this might be due to me being a new user, but I have been around over a month and it is still happening. s there a solution to this?

No, links to locations mostly. You know in a roleplay describing a park can be hard, but giving a link to photos of the park is easy.

Couldn't you just save the photo, then upload it instead? I recommend sharing uploaded images rather than URL's.

On a website with such traffic numbers and constantly targeting by spammers and scanners, automated response to multiple instances of URL spam is necessary. And unfortunately, lots of those links may register as spam when they aren't.

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to answer. I could do pictures, but it can be nicer to give a link to 35 pictures of the place from different angles, etc. I am not sure how I would fit under "multiple instances" as the frequency with which I post links are few and far between, but it does make sense that the spam filters are set very high and I may just have to use photos and the likes instead.
