I’ve been seeing a lot of World Cup visitors in the US saying they were surprised by things like free drink refills and free chips and salsa at restaurants. Is that something that surprised you too, or is it pretty normal where you’re from?

No free refills here outside of pizza hut that I've seen.
Restaurants will give you bread, poppadoms, crackers etc before your meal usually

Yeah there's a bunch of American style places that you buy a refillable drink. Like 5 guys or other take out places. But they just have machines that you help yourself too
