Group Banter Race to a million

It costs less to ship plastic to poor nations than to recycle it domestically. It costs less to produce new plastic and have it shipped from China than to recycle it. Let that sink in. Shit literally makes no sense when you try to wrap your mind around everything with this issue.

I heard magnets were built using recycled plastic. But it became too powerful

Also. Stan. The world sucks so fucking much. I think the plastic recycling in the UK isn't super high either. I can't remember the stat but it's like maybe 40% of plastic that gets set to recycling centers is actually recycled. Or something. Probably made up that number. But meh

Look at all the videos I linked on previous page. Seriously. When you have time. This has going on for decades. By countless metric tons.

Oh. It's not a surprise. Honestly. I watch YouTubers who go to remote islands in the middle of the Pacific that people don't live on and it's full of washed up plastic.

There's the Great Pacific Garbage Patch too which is horrific.

People gonna do terrible things to the planet to make extra money. Hence memes. They help. Ish
