I think it’s interesting up to a point. But cataloging uniforms and duffel bags and canteens gets a bit old
This is true. My history interests are somewhat specific, and I have rarely had someone with similar interests to go with!
There are good museums and bad museums like anything else

There’s probably a museum adjacent to your specific interest that could be a gateway
This is the goal for the near future. I will do some digging!
I like ones with lots of interactive things
The military museum has a big diorama where you can walk through a trench and pretend you’re in the middle of a battle
Sound effects and flashing lights and whatnot
That’s cool
Yeah, that sounds much more intriguing than staring at plain text or images on a wall !
Most people need that sort of interactive stuff to really learn.
A balance is nice
Yes it is
I have a more logical brain as opposed to creative so I need stimulated like a child or puppy
And there are some things where you can’t really make it interactive so you try to make the display and interpretation interesting
