Banter Random Facts About Yourself

In my family, addiction is a gene thing. I have to be carefull with Alcohol, Drugs, Gambling otherwise I'm skrewed. Of the three the only thing I never did is Gamble, I don't see the possible pleasures of it. Drugs----> Way too good so I avoid them
Alcohol----> I grew over it, feeling like a trainwreck every day is not the way to go.

Sex I don't count as long it is not affecting me or others close to me in an unhealthy way.

It took me a long painful road of misery to get over my ex and I have so much love, compassion and patience with people going through divorce because if it. Damnit it sucks because the coffee date guy today spent half the time talking about his ex wife, then again over texts. He's a really nice guy but he's still hurting & he's not ready.

I'm old enough to remember when the approach to players exhibiting "flu-like" symptoms was to give them fluids and just send them out on the court.
It became the stuff of legends (a "game with a name") when Jordan went off for 38 points in Game 5 of the '97 Finals against the Utah Jazz. The Flu Game.

Fast forward 23 years and the Jazz are involved in a completely different type of "Flu Game"
I doubt they'll be printing T-shirts of Rudy Gobert mockingly touching microphones after a press conference where they asked him about Covid-19.

I don't let it worry me if somebody doesn't like me. I'm not to everyone's taste. :) what I don't like is when a person pretends. I really find that a waste of time. If you don't like my personality then thats ok...just move on and make way for someone that does :) Life is too short to waste a good laugh :)

I once tried being obnoxious by screaming loudly before I sneezed. Unfortunately, my sneeze cancelled itself at the last minute and I just ended up screaming in the middle of a writing class
