I could see the hurt on my friend's face.
So when we got ready to leave, I lagged behind as she emptied her trey and started outside. The booths at McDonald's had greenery and flower decor.
So I grabbed one of the fake roses and gave it to her when we got to the car.

She kept it clipped to her sunvisor for ages. She said it was her reminder to never sweat over an asshole again.

I'm a planner - I plan for like 10 or more years ahead... And meticulously fulfill those plans. Unless I'm supposed to plan a few hours or a day head, it's a shitshow then.
