Banter Random Facts About Yourself

A wise man gave me two pieces of amazing advice when I was much younger that stuck with me. He told me that it takes zero effort to be nice to people...saying nothing, when you have nothing nice to say takes much less effort than formulating any type of response at all. The othe piece of advice was that it is better to remain quiet and be thought of a fool...then to open ones mouth and remove all doubt. I have kept these two pieces of advice close to me for a little over 20 years now and I'm passing it on to yall. I left the chats because I didn't like the drama and the bickering. I just wanted to use my imagination and intelligence to roleplay and entertain...then I found the forums and thought it was different here, but I was proven wrong today. If my words strike a chord, let them...they are probably for you, take the advice or don't, it doesn't matter to me. I've already made my decision. If it doesn't strike a chord with you, don't pay it any mind. Thank you for being awesome people and I hope y'all enjoy your time here.

scared to death of snakes
Boo

Edit: I realized later that my message could have been taken two ways. I did not intend it to mean displeasure at the response, since my name is Viper and it is a snake, I was trying to imitate scaring. Which I was hoping would be funny! Hopefully this is how it came across

To piggy back off my previous post about masks, I realized recently that the defense mechanism that I've used most of my life to learn groups of people and then blend in with them so as to not allow myself to seem weird or unusual has allowed me to be anybody I want to be. I may not know deep down who the real me is anymore, but at the same time I could be anybody that I or you want me to be, and for some reason I find that to be a fascinating fact about myself.

I do know all the reindeer names, as well as extra ones that appear in various awful christmas movies because I have a significant portion of my brain devoted to hoarding vast amounts of information about things I don't like or care about whilst stubbornly refusing to retain anything remotely useful or interesting.
