Crispy was a fun nickname ive used for a long time. Then it became real.
A few people on here knew I was married. My husband died in a long term care facility where he spent the last five years. The hospital was able to get me there in time to hold him and say goodbye. His sibling died a few weeks ago. My parents are looking after all of the logistics. My father will drive me up North to the woods when I’m up to it, to scatter his cremains where he’ll be united with his sibling. Hold those you love tight. The marriage was over but I kept my promises made to both of them.

Ive been told that I still have a purpose being here seveal times now by just about everyone I meet. With a different perspective on life, I've been exploring the new aspects of my humanity. Even though I am not the whole person i used to be, I still have my humor, my tendernes, and insatiable appetite to experience new highs. I will battle the constant pains, the deep lows, and greive my losses. Bring it on I say! Let me be a beacon of brightness!
I was flown in the life flight helicopter from one hospital to another to save my life while in labor when I was 19
I’m typically a kind, compassionate, sweet passive pineapple…until triggered. I’m triggered.

I have too many plates and screws in my body so I had to get a medical card to get through TSA without getting embarrassed every time!
