I would have to say a cross, a lot of Americans identify as Christians and would possibly understand why I put a tattoo on my freaking forehead if it was the cross of Jesus...

BTW, I am glad I grew up before tattoos and piercings were the rage. I don't have a tattoo. I kind of regret it and in fact One Night in my twenties I played a wild biker convention. of course back then I had long long curly hair and thought it would be cool to get a tattoo especially because they offered me a free one. I was standing in line to get the tattoo and my manager told me it was time to get back up on stage for our final set. when we got done with our set I went back but the vendor was packing up his tent. I was going to get a blue Stratocaster Fender guitar tattooed on my arm. it was my guitar of choice and I actually still have it.
