Partisan Republicans and balls

Is this thread nothing but hate for one side or the other?
I tend to lean both ways on most issues, and I would consider myself an independent rather than a republican or a democrat. However, branding someone as automatically wrong just because they are another side is, frankly, pointless and does nothing to solve problems. Now, not all the ideas the founding fathers had were good ones, and heck, most of them aren't even relevant today. However, they founded a country that implicitly works on the principle that compromise is the best way to govern. I don't believe that this is the fastest or most effective way to do things, but if its done properly then it could be the best way. Looking at politics these days makes me sick. Instead of compromising, or even being reasonable with each other, both parties have resorted to the equivalent of "Mud in your eye", and disgusting and useless arguing and delay tactics. If they learned to be less stubborn and work together, maybe something would actually get done in this country. But, until then, as a country we're screwed.
But, I am also aware that I'm just dreaming, and this is something that likely won't happen in my time.
It's too late to put the genie back in the bottle now . Buckle up and enjoy the ride hahaha Seriously though if you aren't happy with the current state of affairs do something to change it. You can either do that or let others define your world . It's up to you .

Not quite. The biggest problem with a republic such as ours (It is NOT a democracy by definition), is that one individual truly doesn't matter. It takes thousands, potentially millions of people to agree to get anything done. And at this point in time, I don't see that happening. Its sad, but true. The more you push, the harder they'll push back.

It does take millions but it is the independents like you who can sway elections. But not if you don't vote . And if you don't vote then can you really complain about the outcome of the election? Tr.ump would not be in office today had more democrats not assumed that their vote didn't matter because their state was going to go to Hillary anyway . There was more to Tr.umps win than that of course but low turnout for democrats was a part of it .

I think it was a silly prank, but the amazing part is that the Republicans finally got a set!
Haha if you say so . They just made themselves look like silly whiny kids . They actually were protesting their own rules. In 2015 the Republican controlled House voted to have closed door inquiries when they were investigating Bengazi. And when Clinton was impeached the intial inquiry was held behind closed doors , as well when Nixon was impeached. Also the Constitution doesn't say how a Presiden.t is to be impeached just that the House has sole authority to do so. I think it showed a lack of balls but we each are entitled to our own opinion.

I do vote. But when it came to the trumpman and that bitch I would have voted for Elmo.

Ok point taken haha
Beyond that, due to the Electoral College the popular vote is more like a recommendation. The electors can completely ignore it if they want. That particular election is a perfect example of that system in play. Our system of voting in general is screwed from the get go. That vote for Elmo I mentioned would have had the same exact impact as if I had voted for either candidate. Its not exactly the most encouraging fact for people just starting out. However, votes such as votes for local offices, governors, senators, etc. DO matter as to who you choose. And ever since I turned 18 I have voted during every one of those. Those are the ones that matter most, anyways, since while they are still rigged to a certain extent in most cases, individual votes actually matter for something.

To get back at the subject of lack of balls. Any political party that would question the loyalty of a decorated career soldier because he had concerns about a call made by the Presiden.t truly are a bunch of pussies. Seriously the man still has shrapnel in his body . But I guess when you are trying to defend the indefensible you have to try anything no matter how cowardly. And anyone ever see anyone try so hard to not say anything as McConnell ? I have to admit I am amused by the Republicans repsonse to the impeachment inquiry. They made a deal with the devil in exchange for judicial appointments and an attempt to push their agenda. Have ignored their duty to protect and uphold the Constitution and gave a middle finger to the rule of law . And now it's coming back to bite them in the ass ! Fucking love it !

Somehow Lindsey Grahms balls have managed to shrink into his body even more. Last month he bitched about Volkers testimony not being made public. He also stated that if there was evidence of qoud prp qou is would be ' very troubleing' Yesterday Volkers testimony was realised and so was Gordon what's his name ( can't remember how to spell it / his testimony came with an amendment saying there was qoud pro qou and he was directly involved in it . Grahms response? He refuses to read the testimony haha. And all the other senior Republicans were just as silent. So anyone want to explain to me again how your political party isn't a bunch of ball less cunts ? But this as I've said before this is enjoyable to see.

Personally, I dont care what party hes on or which he supports. I care about his policies, laws, bills, etc that hes pushing for. Many people who are now Republicans, used to support the Democrats.
But you now claim to not be a Tr.ump supporter right ? So where you not telling the truth then or how ?

Antifa is a terrorist organization. They literally fit the definition of such. It doesnt/shouldn't matter if someone is "talking shit" to you or not; theres no reason to assault someone because they have a different opinion than you
Backing more Tr.ump propaganda. But not a supporter? Right

So....supporting a persons policies over their party makes a Tru.mp supporter? Not wanting people to assault someone just because they disagree with your opinion makes me a Tru.mp supporter?
