So Rudeman DOJ wants info from Facebook on ' anti administration activists' hmm I thought in America we had freedom of speech, freedom of expression and the right to protest our government if dissatisfied. In fact our constitution guarantees those rights. Well it seems Trumps DOJ doesn't believe that. And you know who else didn't believe those things? Poppycock and Mussolini. Seems this Administration wants us to go from the land of the free to the land of the fascists. Resist!
Seems I can't type the leader of Germany who started world war two. Well we all know who I mean. They guy who created the final solution, invaded Poland etc
The version of Article 19 in the ICCPR later amends this by stating that the exercise of these rights carries "special duties and responsibilities" and may "therefore be subject to certain restrictions" when necessary "[f]or respect of the rights or reputation of others" or "[f]or the protection of national security or of public order (order public), or of public health or morals". Freedom of speech is nullified when it is in the form of a third party entity and that entity clearly states what is acceptable and unacceptable to post. This is especially true with all forms of social media that have a Terms of Services or ToS.
That is not an amendment to the Constitution. They have not said they suspect anyone of illegal acts. They simply want to know who they are. Once they know then the next step is harassment , denial of government services , false charges things of that nature. You can say anything you want about the administration you want as long as it's not a threat of violence, call to treason or sedition. None of that has been alleged by the DOJ. If they had evidence of that they would be doing more than making requests.
