For all women who choose to run alone……whether on streets or wooded trails….
Wear bright running gear
Have a rape whistle around your neck and blow it like a motherfucker if attacked
Wear a headlamp because the day and weather can darken in an instant
Carry mace, pepper spray or bear spray, whatever you can buy and spray it in that assholes face whether it’s legal or not in your state/province
Fight back as though your life depends on it because it does

I had this on another thread but I decided to post it here.
We have all at one time or another driven the vile, vindictive, petty, gossip highway if you’re honest with yourself. Think back to high school days for an example. Take the first off ramp because that highway goes absolutely fucking nowhere except to cause you and others grief and strife.
Brutal honesty is difficult for some to accept.
