This seems fun

So, you posted a picture of someone else as your profile pic, didn't say anything until someone said something to you first, but you weren't pretending that the picture was you? Actually, I think you're actually full of actual shit. But that's just me... I'm cynical. I'm sure everyone else will believe you.
If you have ever spoken to SAB in chat you would know that she is very open that that isn't her in the profile pic. And if someone asks she will say.
There are many profile pics on here that aren't the actual user so I don't see the problem.

Does Alice know you're using her image for your profile pic?
No one on this site is who they present themselves as. Even if they use a real pic they still are only showing a part of their personality that gets them what they want from this. So I don't see what the big deal is with fake pics. If you expect to see anything real you won't and shouldn't expect to find it here.

That is true to a bigger or lesser extent. There is a huge range of how much people represent themselves here, from a tiny percentage to a bigger one. Everybody has their own preference.

As for me, whatever physical part of me you see is real. Personally, I only get the thrill of communicating with someone when I know that someone here is communicating with that part of me which is real. I'd rather be an 'unwanted myself', than be a hit using another perfect person's face/anatomy. If I want to go all the way visually anonymous, I would take a picture of a dog, bear, landscape, cartoon or whatever, so that some people may not mistake somebody else's face/physique for mine.

I'm not stating what is wrong or right here, just how I personally prefer it.

I was kinda generalizing . But I do get your point.
