Vetkoek is a traditional South African fried dough bread. The vetkoek forms part of South African culture. It is similar to the Caribbean Johnny cake, the Dutch oliebol, and the Mexican sopaipillas. Another similar South African recipe is Amagwinya, the Xhosa name for this fried dough ball.

Normaly eat here with curry mince but goes well with tomato or jam or maple syrup

Sounds pretty tasty :) what's in the curry mince? :D looks like minced beef with curry and a bit of tomato or pepper :D
 
I am reading a spider-man fan fiction where spider-man is gay and an alien impregnated him, that's how they fall in love. Spider-man and the alien want to get married but a same-sex marriage is illegal in their state. Very sad story, I know.
