Women In Online Spaces

Okay so forgive me but I think this post is going to be a bit of a rant.

I've been properly online since I was about 12. I had an xbox before then and I everything was great, however when I got my first computer and was allowed to free roam the internet I've noticed something which isn't probably shouldn't come as a surpise. A good majority of men online are medieval.

What I mean by this is that they don't really think about what they do especially when it concerns women. They think they can wave their dick in your face and suddenly you wjll be in love and tbh im really getting sick of it. Is it that hard to understand that even if im on an adult website they could still atleast ask first?

I don't understand what makes men online so compelled to treat women as sex objects because we all know that they wouldn't do it in real life. Maybe its the protection of being on the internet and facing 0 consequences for it. Why is it that because you as a man are horny and so I have to see your dick? I never asked to see it so what makes you assume I want to?

Furthermore, this mistreatment goes well beyond borderline sexual assault. Outside of websites like these and in gaming spaces women are the constant victims of abuse harassment simply for wanting to have fun and play a game. It just makes me so annoyed that I have to tiptoe around using voice comms else I risk comments telling me to get in the kitchen, or to show my tits or anything similar.

This world is built against us and despite how much progress has been made it womens rights the treatment of women in society has barely changed. Men still view us for the most part as objects who are here to breed and serve them, even if they dont realise thats how they operate. Even when trying to fight against how we are treated we are mocked and laughed at by men.

TLDR: I fucking hate being a woman purely because (most) men have the same amount of braincells as a cucumber and don't realise they are part of the problem when it comes to the systematic oppression of women.
