I can definitely tell you are from that part of the U.S lol . We actually have 4 or 5 accents in Maryland and apparently I speak with a slightly Western Maryland one. Not were I was born but moved there as a kid and lived there a long time. People from Baltimore and E. Shore have commented on it. I always remind them that to anyone North of Southern PA We all sound country !

There are slight differences in Australian accents state to state but so slight, its usually only a local who can pick the differences. I'll admit to not being one who can do it but I know people who can.
