Riddle Me Timbers!

(this is my personal favorite):
"A man was shot to death while in his car. There were no powder marks on his clothing, which indicated that the gunman was outside the car. However, all the windows were up and the doors locked. After a close inspection was made, the only bullet holes discovered were on the man’s body. How was he murdered?"

After years of psychedelic drug abuse and a history of drug induced psychosis she goes on a 72 hr meth binge. Believing her sister is the devil and wants to eat her liver she kills her in self defence. The guy she fell for went on to eke out a meagre existence as the assistant night manager at a box factory. He currently lives with his wife and 2 kids in the western suburbs of Sydney. Don't do drugs

Aha!! I think I've got it! At first I was thinking suicide, but that made no sense...then I thought "it's a soft top with the roof down!!" Is that right?
