I'm not sure if I'd say creeped out but I'm quietly uncomfortable with damp and dirty things/places, e.g touch a damp dirty cloth, bin juice when the bag has a tear, I don't let it stop me from going about things generally but my skin still crawls. Once I crashed at a friend's house after a night out and in the morning I really wanted a shower but decided against it when I saw his bathroom floor had warped in a way that there was a persistent puddle of water in front of the shower which I shuddered t9 think how many times my friend and his housemates had stepped through.

I think those who join the military are very much aware that they could lose their life doing that job. In a similar fashion that plumbers could get wet doing their job.

It's kinda in the job description really.

Believe it or not, some join the military to help others. The vast amount of those that join up never kill anyone.

Some even join as a job, so they actually contribute towards society and don't take benefits by being unemployed. Like all jobs, people do it for the benefits it offers, be it financial, experience or other. Military service is no different.

Stop commenting on things you know little about, stick to talking to yourself about rats and fish.

First off you're in UK, you're not part of the US military. Second, you are an idiot! smh My Dad was in the US Air Force, during Vietnam, he was stationed in England, how do you think I managed to be born there? smh

Motivations for joining a Western volunteer military are pretty much the same, regardless of nation.

It's not stalking or trolling. Stop deluding yourself that you're that important. It's an open forum for discussion. If you make a comment, sometimes you get a response. That's how forums work. If you don't like your posts being commented on then don't use such large bright font like a child craving attention, and don't comment on something you know little about with your assumptions and wildy inaccurate opinions.

I've contributed to society thanks. I've been employed all my adult life and paid taxes. How about you?

Rats' biggest contribution to society is spreading disease. The Great Plague for example.

Your dislike for people joining the military says more about you than anything else. I'm guessing daddy issues or a soldier rattled your jizz box when you were younger and never called you back.
