I’ve tried multiple times to submit this ban appeal since I literally just said HI and got banned for scamming?! Each time I tried submitting the form there’s an error. So obviously it’s not working and needs to be addressed as well as me getting banned unfairly when I did absolutely nothing wrong.

Only once...lucky you...I get banned wrongly daily and if Im not banned Im muted until Im banned again. This has been going on for a month

I don't even get a reason, I'm just banned with a message saying VPNs are a no-no when I don't even use one.

Hi WillNever...I have been released from FCN jail after about 5 weeks of this and another 4 days muted (parole?) however things seem to have stabilized, fingers crossed. The only advice I can offer is screen shot every time you get the ban message to include in your appeals and still expect to get shafted at any time. However hopefully we will see you soon in P.S. again

Can't wait to get kicked for lurking even though I'll get banned for chatting once it lifts and the shite cycle continues.
 
I got banned a few weeks ago for apparently using vpns which I never do.


Got in 2 days ago, banned again today for simply chatting away with friends on the wall. The ban reason shows: more spam.
 
honestly since you are told to ONLY send one ban appeal and then not to send another its kinda hard since you are never told when anything happnes since scammer and hackers might use this info as im told over and over again.
so it might be weeks before you are even looked at.

Still banned for a nonexistent VPN
 
I'm going to write this as a user, since I am- well.. no moderator. Don't quote me on anything because the things I say are mostly opinions/observations:

A lot of people get banned from chat. Whether you did spam or not, I believe the reason they do it is because if they do sense something happening-they are going to do something about it. I have no experience as a mod, but this just seems like common sense. Plus, I don't really see the point in complaining? It is a free-to-use chatroom, and it will usually lift if you haven't done anything wrong. Misclicks happen, moderators are not perfect, and no one is telling you to commit to this website; you are choosing too. All I want to say is: If you see it as a problem, appeal it, thats about it. Its not a big deal, at least in my eyes.

for once ill agree with Stanthropical fully, no mods are involved so i don't blame them at all.
i will say that complaining about it whilst annoying at least gets the word out that this is an actual thing that happens and clearly to more than one person especially in the past month or 2 it seems. no matter how small of an issue it still IS an issue.
and yes bans are lifted, like mine however it was much longer than needed by a lot, and also others have said that they get unbanned then banned again right after so clearly it is an actual problem no matter how hard people say its not, its clear it is but whatever, all i hope is that im not banned for nothing again no matter how free something is it should still be held to some standard.
 
Problem for whom? How much time do you spend to keep out spam and scams? How much money do you spend to keep the website up? How much do you have invested in legalese and startup costs? How much do you pay employees of this website? How much of your invested effort, time, money do you stand to lose, should the website fall to scammers and spammers if hardcore measures weren't maintained to protect some 2,500-3,500 users at any given moment around the clock?
