Feedback - Bans & Mutes Banned for sharing music?

So I think this is a proxy ban issue or something. I can't find posting links to songs to be against the rules anywhere, yet last time I did it I was muted for like ten minutes, now this time I was banned from the chat? I was really hoping to chat tonight. Hope this issue doesn't persist because I love sharing music. For reference in both instances I was posting spotify links.

Can you show me the full URL's you posted?

The system response is automatic and is targeting spam/scams and illegal content/URL activity.

FCN is accessible around the world and as such, to a wide array of cultures with varying levels of tolerance for any content. The TOU was established for legal purposes as well as to reflect current times and views of the society's majority across the planet. Rules also protect users from spam, scams and illegal activity.

Unless you have a solution to a technical issue, I would avoid posting uninformed remarks in support forums, because it adds to confusion and helps no one in the end. The more misinformation, the more difficult it is to assist users and moderate the website.

No moderator is required to identify themselves to you during or after enforcing the TOU and what's best for the community.
 
Linked sysadmin to this issue and they said they've tweaked some anti-spam code, @Fae-Fem.

It's also possible the system found some posts repetitive. Let us know if it happens again and take notes. We're able to troubleshoot issues more effectively when something is clearly documented and in proper sequence.

I will let you know and take notes. I don't think it was repetitive because I was muted and banned immediately upon posting both of them for the first time.
