I'm being cheap...instead of buying new strings for a guitar...you can clean them by boiling them in vinegar to get a little more life out of them. Stinks. So I'm looking for a sale somewhere. No luck yet. :(

edit - @ guitar strings - I know little about that. I tried to learn guitar once as a kid and I quit because my fingers hurt. I can play a lovely tune on the recorder, though.
