Not sure it's a religious question but I didn't think it fitted anywhere else. Is there anyone on here who meditates on a regular basis?
I do. I shoot to meditate every morning but realistically it happens about 4 times a week. Basically I do my best to purge negative energy. Then I’ll attune or seek a source of positive energy.
Yes. I also teach my children to meditate. Its important to have a peaceful soul in order to have a peaceful life.
The way I mediate, hop on my headphones and just lay back or lean back close my eyes and its just lovely.
Not since I last fought. I used to do a little bit of meditation before I'd step into the ring, just help me focus a bit.
Yes. Although I don't meditate as much as I'd like. My goal is to make it a daily habit again. I used to suffer from anxiety attacks and severe insomnia. In my experience, meditation is the single greatest thing you can do to alleviate depression and anxiety, followed by good amounts of sleep and exercise. It's like hitting the "reset" button on your modem, when your internet's slow. Or restarting your computer.
1 hour, after I wake up, every day. I do Kagyu (Buddhist) meditation, it's the shit 10/10 would recommend to everyone, not everyone can work with it though.
Nah..my meditation is working out and raging at ppl in the freeways wishing i ran them over with my car..fun
Well I first meditated when I once had menstrual cramps, and it did me good! Almost wasn't feeling the cramps anymore. I decided I'd start meditating whenever I'm not feeling well, physically or mentally. I first started it with a very useful app that I recommend called Headspace, it gives out 10 free sessions, anything else you have to pay monthly. Sadly, I lost the habit and I do feel like I need it back in my life.
Hell yes. All the time, hydrocodone, percocet, vicodin, all kinds of norco, wait ... you said meditate. Sorry. I do. Only after I medicate, but it may just be the drugs.
