Does anyone have a Google Pixel phone?

Hi, thank you. I'm not sure you can help, my questions are kinda really phone specific, but maybe you do know. Either way thank you for responding to me. :)

Do you know if Pixel is a user friendly phone?

Does it have any freezing problems?

Is it friendly with Microsoft Vista documents? My current phone doesn't like them and I need to convert to rtf.

Can it do screen to screen transfers.

Does the music player sound good in it, and stuff like that.

Thanks Kristianna

Tbh most phones now are generally pretty user friendly. The Pixel I would say from an android perspective is the most user friendly. I find other android phones have too much of a custom skin over and ruin the device.

My nexus has been smooth as hell. Since it's android you will get a bit of freezing now and again but if there gonna be any device that runs smooth, it'll be the Pixel.

As the famous Apple slogan went "there's an app for that" but if it's a Word document then Google Docs does open .docs files but you can get Microsoft Office on the Play Store so could easily continue what ever file you are using.

Screen to Screen transfers? I'm not sure what you mean sorry?

Google Play Music is the default music player and on the Nexus it's fine, kind of like Spotify with the option to listen to your own music as well, as well as uploading it to free up space. The 6P has stereo speakers so anything sounds good on that. The Pixel I can't actually say as I've never heard it but from what I've read, it's a downgrade from this phone but that's only the speakers on the phone. If you are after a phone with top of the line audio through headphones then I'm sure Sony and LG use better DAC for that. I think android plays FLAC files natively as well so if that's your thing you're good on that. If you're on about using equalisers, there's plenty of options and most alternative music players in the app store have their own built in one. If you're willing to root then you can go one further and get very, very equalisers that make your phone sound amazing but that involves some technical knowledge.

Thank you :) I don't know the actual name of screen to screen transfering, but with my tablet I can touch the face of it, to the face of some other tablets/ phones and music catalogs and etc will go from one device to the other. As for the music stuff, what I primarily want is just good built in speakers, that I can actually hear and stuff. My current phone sucks in that area.

I think I know what you are on about. Not got a Samsung by any chance? It's usually using your nfc chip in your phone sending it via WiFi direct. Tbh android hasn't got that down very well, Samsung are pretty much the only device that sorted that feature out for what ever reason but you get apps that do similar. Send Anywhere is one such app and allows you to transfer files over your WiFi router and is a cross platform option.

Honestly I couldn't tell you what the speakers are like. Might be worth just investing in a portable Bluetooth speaker as that'll be louder than any phones speakers. I got one for a tenner (I think) off amazon. But if you really must have good speakers, ideally you want front facing and stereo. They generally give off the best sound and experience, esp whilst watching videos.
