Evolution No religion

I see alot think everything would've been way better without religion and I understand that but I think a lot of religions brought alot to the table evolution wise,but now it kinda came to a halt like, we look at the holy books and it's like well that doesn't make sense and that sounds a bit extreme, but then again these books r too complex and any line can easily mean 3 or more different things so depends on how u interpret it, that's y u see for example more liberal muslims who like drink alcohol and "fornicate" and others who r more conservative in a religious sense, thoughts?

Religion is! As soon as a being was able to wonder how the Universe was created and what its purpose was, the concept of religion was born.

A religion is just a set of principals and beliefs about "God" that are shared by a group of people who wonder why they are here and how they should live their lives. There is no way that we can avoid having religions.

When religions are defined through a set of writings or scriptures, then people can be categorized by how closely their beliefs adhere to that definition, and how well people live in accordance with their beliefs. Most people's religious belief systems vary from the religion they profess.

Religion, like Politics, Science, or any other human construct can be used for personal gain and power.
