@SexyAsianBitch - I lurked "undercover" in those depths of the internet. Trust me they have an "explanation" for this. a) fisheye lens to fool masses, b) Hollywood studio CGI production c) eyes playing trick d) I have not seen it I cannot believe it.

@CrystalMarker :) , there was an anime series, in which there is a funny line "Besties for Resties", you are an awesome friend. :)

@Naz1 - yeah this was a while ago, later the debate was on a pair of sneakers. However, my curiosity made me wonder a) why people perceive differently?, and b) why are people hyper when someone sees it differently?

For Part A - why some perceive different colours was really interesting?

There are no concrete answers, but the leading theory was about "perception of illumination". As humans, we are used to seeing things in a particular way. Those who "perceived" the dress was shot in full daylight felt it was White/Gold, another set saw it as Black/Blue. So an image whose illumination we are not sure off, the mind fills up things to make us "assume" how it is lit and we see colours accordingly.

For Part B - This is what made me wonder more, how people were reacting to it.

Our assumption that we see basically the same reality as everyone else. Therefore, if I see it one way and you see it another, I assume you’re wrong. And since we simply assume that our eyesight shows us reality, it can be deeply unsettling to learn that there’s no consensus on reality. This deep conflict is fascinating.

Sorry for the LONG explaination

Thank You My Awesome Friend!

@Edie - don't know about the poop, but for their size, if I remember they eat quite less.
@CrystalMarker probably that's why Himalayas got so many rivers
