Complaint Uploading Image Error

It'll get fixed. Just have to give the sysadmin time. There could be a need to upgrade or expand hardware, maybe rebuild or reset software components to defaults, etc.

Imgbb is a decent linking service in the meantime, with self-elected hosting timer limits.
 
If anyone wants to change their profile picture, try and screenshot the picture and upload that and sometimes it works. (:
 
Is there any update on this. A lot of the threads are being ruined by folk not being able to post pictures or having them not show up on image links

Nope. It's gonna take some time as this is a bigger issue and not everything can be fix easily of course so gotta wait. They will let it be known. I know it sucks that some threads are being ruined because of it

Either someone will post an update in here or it'll just get fixed.

Two other admins notified people who can fix it, before I did. I notified them as well, so they're aware.

They're likely having larger issues elsewhere or working on some project that's consuming all the working hours. For example, it took multiple attempts and ten hours each time to update this forum. Some things just take time.

Really don't get how anyone does it, I even tried using the media thing as well or attaching it as a file, still doesn't work

Also with imgbb.com you could sign up and once you have an account there is a drop-down box I circled in red after your picture uploads and gives you the option to use the direct link and it will give you the link you need so just copy it. a screenshot below.

You don't need to sign up for imgbb. Just upload your photo, select time, view the photo right click or long-press and Copy or open in new window (so you're viewing the image file) and copy the URL.

Some of these options are not as easy to use on a mobile or other devices. Is there any news about the problem being fixed?
 
You can also use this method:
Upload to imgbb, select "BBCcode full linked"
Copy this:
Code: 
[img]https://i.ibb.co/PvKFR9QW/IMG-6537.jpg[/img]
And just paste it into thread.

Yeah sometimes people don't know much about stuff like this lol so I try to make it somewhat easy. Making an account I said because sometimes people like to do so lol but ya (:
