Userlist width adjustability

the size of the left pannel , displaying user names should be adjustable . as some of the user names gets truncated due to size . so to make the panel flexible would a good option to add . the urser can adjust the size depending on their comfort and screen size.

and also increase the space between the user names . as in the old chat . in this new chat UI , the names are too closely packed up .
 
and i wanted to ask why wont fcn work on any other browser other than opera ?? i have have almost alll but it works on opera .
