Although 1450 feet tall, the Empire State Building is once again now only the third tallest building in NYC.

...but it has its own ZIP code.

*Also, in regards to my Crater Lake fact above in which I stated that it was deep enough to cover six Statues of Liberty stacked on top of each other: if you've ever seen the Empire State Building in person, THIS would have put the depth of Crater Lake more into perspective:

At 2000 feet deep, Crater Lake in Oregon is deep enough to completely cover the Empire State Building with the Statue of Liberty stacked on top of it.

(There. That sounds more impressive to me, lol)

"You Are My Sunshine," one of the most covered and most popular songs in the history of American music, was written by Jimmie Davis. Davis, a prolific actor in old Hollywood Westerns, also had a very successful singing career and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Oh, and he had a pretty good side job, too: he was a popular two-term governor of the great state of Louisiana. Jimmie Davis also has the distinction of being the only person elected to high office in the history of the United States to live in the 1800's, the 1900's, and the 2000's (September 11, 1899 – November 5, 2000).

Apple Computer (now Apple Inc.) had a third founder along with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, a man by the name of Ronald Wayne. However, he sold his share of the new company back to Jobs and Wozniak for $800, and then accepted $1,500 to forfeit any claims against Apple. Had Wayne kept his 10% stake in Apple Inc., it would now be worth over $75.5 billion.

Here is Ronald Wayne standing outside his home:
