Differences in ban reasons

What are the different ban reason in the Chat?

I have seen "Pedo", "Nonce" and "Your illegal uploads have been reported to the authorities" as ban reasons in the chat here as they were posted in the channels for everyone to see.

Some said that the "Pedo" and "Nonce" ban-reasons just ban you permanently while the "Your illegal uploads" one also gets the police involved.

Is any of this true? I would be interested to know because for me all of those sound similar.
