Women's Health

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, and women are more likely to be affected than men.
Women's hearts and blood vessels are smaller and have thinner muscular walls, which can make it harder to identify heart disease and delay treatment. Women are also more likely to have health conditions that increase their risk of heart disease, such as anemia, early menopause, and endometriosis.
Some common types of heart disease in women include:
Coronary artery disease
This is the most common type of heart disease in the United States and occurs when plaque clogs arteries, preventing the heart from getting enough blood.
Arrhythmia
This condition causes an irregular heartbeat, such as atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter.
Diseases of the heart valves
These include mitral valve prolapse, mitral regurgitation, and aortic stenosis.
Microvascular disease
This is caused by plaque in the small vessels that supply the heart muscle, which can cause chest pain.
Symptoms of heart disease in women include:
Chest pain or discomfort, which can be dull and heavy or sharp
Pain in the neck, jaw, throat, upper abdomen, or back
Nausea or vomiting
Unusual fatigue
Shortness of breath during physical activity
Other risk factors for heart disease in women include:
Smoking
Women who smoke are two to six times more likely to develop heart disease than non-smokers.
Stress and depression
Chronic stress and depression can increase cortisol levels, which can lead to inflammation in the arteries.

https://fearlessliving.org/overcoming-self-doubt-why-youre-stuck-and-how-to-get-unstuck/

What do you call a person who makes you doubt every bloody thing about yourself? What is wrong with them? I know who I am and they ALWAYS make me doubt myself.
They can be good people. Example: an anxious parent can always ask “Are you sure you can do this?” or believe that it is better not to try (if you don’t try, you never fail). The result is that you feel bad, but it is not what the parent is looking for: they are just sharing their anxiety about you. Just learn to live with it and don’t pay attention.

They can be dangerous people. The most frequent case is that of a narcissist: the narcissist is out to prove that he/she is superior to you, so whatever you do well, they diminish in order to self-aggrandize. It is worse than jealousy: it is a systematic work to belittle others. How do you recognize a narcissist? He/she is doing that to everybody, not just you. The solution is to avoid people like that as much as you can.

@Tully_Monster I am sharing this because of your reply to my post in the thread. If you know who you are and believe in yourself, NO ONE can make you doubt yourself. Stay strong.

Thank you for sharing, I just lost myself a long time ago. Sometimes I have great moments of finding ME again but I just can't hang onto her. I stay strong cause I have to, no matter how many people I'm surrounded by I know I'm the only one I can count on

This is sad, makes me sad. I wish I had the answers that can help, but I hope that you take care of yourself. I'm sorry you feel this way. Me too, I am the only one I can truly count on but hopefully you have family and good friends to lean on too.

Hiya, first off thank you :)

You might think it might not mean anything but your post means a huge amount more then you know, yes we mightn't know eachother but for you to take time to read through the posts and then to post means alot

Not sure how inspirational i am, but i'm just a girl who had to go through what i went through and i'm one of the very lucky one's to get out, and if i can help someone else through their struggle and tough times (no matter how small they might think it is) its the least i can do, i dont have all the answers as im still dealing with my own stuff, but i will always be there for anyone who wants to talk or even just be there for people if they want to talk and i'll just listen to them

Anyway thank you again, that was a beautiful post to read, honesly made me well up a lil, ever need or want to talk you just send me a message

:)
