Elephant's skin is significantly thicker and tougher, so physical deformation would probably be far less dramatic.

This would be extremely dramatic if the pressure builds to breaking point!

There's only so much pressure that can be built, considering the source volume. If you have a nasty cut, perhaps your innards would leak fluid/gases, but our skin is able to stay intact under earth's gravity and atmospheric pressure, so a breaking point is unlikely.
