I actually threw it away ten or more years ago, when I wanted to say goodbye to a part of me. A very foolish thing. Remember some of it. Should try and rewrite it. It was called Silence in Monochrome.
 
I think we all do that, as in throw stuff away because we don't think it's us anymore.

If you have the time and inclination, then why not see if you can redo it.
 
I regretted the act, and never quite got round to fixing it. So I think I will try and rewrite it. Thank you for giving me the motivation x

Fireflies

From on high I watch the lights below
They shine like so many fireflies
Their patterns push out to light the dark
I wonder of the dreams
That those below are having
Their lives unaware of my passing

As I watch the land slip by
My thoughts reach upto heaven
My mind wanders like the clouds
But slowly I tire and fall into slumber
My mind dreams like those below
But onwards I always go..

I've found that I wrote it and leave it. I then come back a few days later and change it and leave it. It takes me 3-4 hits before I don't hate it..

Often sharing helps with like minded ppl. Though a few can get a little special and not like any critisism which can make improvement a little hard.

Very true on your part as well but consider it's art and if it pleases just one person then it's beautiful in their eyes. Not every one should fit into one mold . . Today I might write a triangle which triangles would love but tomorrow I might write a square so . . .lol funny way of putting it but you get what I mean?? Right?

Same here, I have notebooks full of random stuff only a few I have considered finished.

The Way I'm Feeling

The way I'm feeling, unexplained
Undefined,
Uncontrollable like a ball rolling down a hill until . .
I hit a wall.
Crashing, crumbling into pieces.
A brittle mistake wanting to just bounce again
Pick me up and mold me into a new shape
The way I'm feeling . . . Maybe a square
Then I could fit inside the box you hide in
Somehow I know there won't be room
Anyway, I curl up into myself staying true to form . . .

Passing by each others

Catch on to a funny moment

Then the joyride start

Careful feel feel in words

Testing the waters

And then as if the moment was right

Slap me when i am silly

You bring to me sunshine

You fill me with joy

You my favorite online friend

You just fit into my heart
